The time has come to start diminishing my fleet of minitrucks to pursue that ever elusive goal of finishing the perfect mini! Taking my own advice after some motivation from my own column and Ernie's last column I decided to put all my eggs into My Hot Rod Dime to try and get it to this year's SEMA! Well if you know anything about this truck, you know that is a bigger challenge than you would expect. You see this S-10 is my very first truck and I began building it back in 1998!!! Yes almost ten years ago! But the hardest thing about this beast is that I WANT IT TO BE THE BEST! Every few years the build has changed to keep with the times and stay ahead of the competition so it's been a never ending project. Well that stops now! With help from some of the best builders in the country my final version will be completed and ready for SEMA 2008! The Hot Rod Dime is currently in Texas at Hill's Hot Rods being transformed into what you see here… With luck on my side, 2008 just might be MY YEAR!
