Stadiums and Superstars

Edison Field and Hummer Limousine

Hey everyone! Reflecting back on my weekend, I can see why I'm so exhausted! From beginning to end, it was just crazy!

Both Friday night and Sunday night I found myself at Edison Field, or Anaheim Stadium, or whatever it's called, for an amazing event called the Harvest Crusade. Sitting in the nose-bleed section of right field and looking out beyond the stadium, I had a perfect view of one of the office buildings where that good Mini Truckin' Magazine material is created. The other full-view picture of the stadium was taken from the top level of the office building's parking structure during the Havasu HAVOC Cruise this year. I circled on each picture where the other picture was taken from. It's awesome to have a stadium like this in your workplace's "backyard"; from the upper floors of the building you can look down into the stadium. Luckily for us, Southern California is home to many stadiums, like this one, and amusement parks too, like Disneyland. In fact, on Friday night, we watched Disneyland's fireworks from the stadium's parking lot. I wanted to go to the X-Games, which were in town this weekend, but I didn't have the time!

Saturday night I got ride in a limousine - my first limo ride EVER! It was absolutely fantastic and I had a blast! Unfortunately, we couldn't stick our heads out the Hummer's sunroof as we had planned, because it wouldn't open that far; I'm thinking that was on purpose (haha). It was so nice to just cruise around without worrying about driving! We even found ourselves heading down a dead-end alley, which was super-exciting considering the sidewalk-work we pulled off in order to turn the beast around. Feeling like a superstar for a night wasn't so bad afterall. Just think, this limo bagged on 26's...

So, if I ever complain about getting nothing done on the truck, remind me of weekends like this!
