If You Can 3 Wheel, So Can I!

2007 Ludikrs Custom Car and Truck Show

I have come to the unofficial conclusion that the Ludikrs Show is simply not a normal show - it really is ludicrous.

Some synonyms for ludicrous include nonsensical, absurd, ridiculous, foolish, and stupid, among others, and these are the exact reason I wouldn't miss a Ludikrs Show. This is one of those shows that can still get you to raise your eyebrows in disbelief, even if you've been "in the scene" a long time. I feel bad for innocent spectators and first-timers, because you know they'll never be the same (for better or worse haha) after this show. This show seems to attract a crowd that is into hopping and 3-wheeling and burnouts and big sound systems and ostentatious builds; there's not much you can do but grab your camera and catch the action, while trying to protect yourself and your own ride. Many trucks are "on the bottle" and hop like none other, and think nothing of it. It's more a factor of how much stuff you're willing to break on each hop. Also, seeing bagged trucks pull 3-wheel is always entertaining for me, but when lifted trucks decide it looks fun and do it too - that's ludicrous, and I've only seen that at a Ludikrs Show. Can't wait until next year!
