So one of the joys in life, and the American Dream is to own a home and a tiny bit of So Cal soil... Recently, thanks to a few close friends, the wife and I were blessed with buying our "dream house". Now here's where the story gets fun...
Our first house was a mere 1200 sq. ft. with a 2-car garage and in Southern California that's good HAHA but for us it just wasn't enough... we don't even have kids yet, but with our puppies, pool table, and too many vehicles to list we quickly outgrew that place and began looking for a new one.
Well after a month of searching we came across a gorgeous 3200+ sq ft. with an oversized 3+ car garage (plenty of room to work with!!!) on almost a 1/4 acre, which is huge here!!! But it was a little further from work (over an hour commute)... after the wife saw the house it was a must and we quickly closed a deal... but the first house was a smooth process and we weren't ready for the whirlwind that was about to hit with weeks of delays and going over Escrow... let me just say it wasn't fun...
But that wasn't the worst part. We've accumulated tons of crap and it all had to be moved! Now moving is a four letter word and only your closest friends will be there to help... so we took a weekend and loaded up a few trucks and hit the road to our new pad... Not much went wrong, but my fridge did decide that it should fall on top of me while everyone stood around and laughed... Thanks Guys!
