We departed early Monday morning (May 19), knowing that we'd be retracing Friday's route, except this time southbound on the 5 instead of northbound. It was a day of driving nearly identical to the trip we had had up to Portland. It seemed like it went by quickly, though, as the thrill of the car was still in full force. We had a smooth trip home, with no tickets and no incidents, thankfully. The whole trip went very smoothly. Unfortunately, I spotted NO customized mini trucks during our west coast jaunt - heck, we even took a wrong turn and ended up in Washington at one point!
We returned the car back to Mitsubishi that Wednesday, concluding our week of Evo fun. Overall, it was probably a crazy idea to begin with. What's even crazier is that we actually pulled it off! It's safe to say that "that new Evo with the Mini Truckin' sticker" probably drew some attention, which is what us mini truckers do best.
