Now that we have the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, (check out Parts 1 and 2), we figure the best way to test it out is to drive it - a lot. But to where?
The logical solution is to drive it to a place where these types of cars hang out. After cruising the internet for possible destinations, we were led to the Oregon Trail Rally, which is Round 4 of the Rally America National Championship Series. You can read more about this rally here.
As truck enthusiasts, we are going to invade the world of rally racing, hopefully bringing back to you outstanding pictures (haha) and "valuable information" on the culture, lifestyle, and race atmosphere. While we will do our best to not give away our poser status, I do plan on putting a Mini Truckin' sticker on the back of the Evo, because mini truckers have to represent.
Departure time is dark o'clock tomorrow morning. We will be giving you guys updates; be sure to remind us to not do anything too stupid, since we must drive the Evo home in one piece. Take care of the site while I'm away!
