For the past 5 blogs, a pattern has developed in the blogs from username MiniTruckG - there are no pictures.
The "No Image Available" place holder does not count as an image. Actually, it indicates the absence of an image. I could go in and add an image to these blogs, but they are not my blogs, so adding a picture of my own interpretation would be like illustrating someone else's book. It might change the meaning.
I can't stand it anymore - I must know why there are no images! So, I need your help. Why do YOU think there are no images? Here are the options I could think of:
1. There in fact IS an image, but the last step of placing it into the blog wasn't taken. (But, I just checked, and this is not the case.)
2. The blogger does not have the tools needed to resize a photo, such as Photoshop.
3. The blogger does indeed have all the tools needed to resize a photo, but does not know how to use them. (Again, highly doubtful. I happen to know the blogger knows his stuff.)
4. This blogger has no picture to include.
5. This blogger has no camera to take pictures to include. (Doubtful, we have evidence indicating otherwise.)
6. The blogging system does not work properly, thus inhibiting the uploading of images.
7. The blogging system works intermittently, allowing the upload of photos to sometimes work, while at other times, not work at all. This unpredictability has caused the blogger to give up trying, while fueling resentment and bitterness towards blogging in general and especially towards the site's Web Producer.
8. The blogger is trying to upload a 10MB picture, crashing the system.
9. The blogger has no computer, and thus has no access to personal photos. Perhaps he blogs words from a co-worker's computer, or utilizes a public library or internet café.
10. The blogger does not believe in adding photos to blogs. His words and presence alone are enough to capture attention. Why clutter it with pictures?
11. Additionally, why waste time on something noone looks at anyway? Mini Truckin' editors are busy shooting cool trucks and doing those cool things that editors do. There is not a surplus of time during the day.
