Golf Carts Gone Wrong

Alright, first things first... we all know I like to hang out and have a good time! But come on now, enough is enough! We went out of our way to provide show goers with golf carts so they could cruise the show in comfort and this is how they repaid us?

There's a reason why shows have dwindled, and it's not all due to the gas prices! Time to turn to your buddies and say to one another, "Let's have fun, but NOT destroy anyone else’s property!" It's just not necessary guys!!! Bathrooms getting trashed, golf carts in the mud and run into walls??? What happened to the good old fashion fun of drinking a few cold ones with your boys and talking trucks all night? If you want to keep good shows around then please help us by behaving and not wrecking stuff when your out there... Thanks guys!

1. I agree with what you're saying 100%. If you are going to mess someone elses stuff up, take care of the problem. Funny thing is that the picture above is of one of my friends. Now, we took the responsibility to pull the cart out and took it back to camp and completely repaired and washed it back to (or better than) the condition that he received it in. It was a dumb ass move to take it out there, but I'm glad we didn't leave it out there like other people decided to do.

2. iguesswhatpeople didnt see either wuz therre wuz a golf cart that wuz pulled out of the river that sunday we did clean this golfcart and returned no problem if it it wuz a great weekend hanging out wit everyone i hope people dont look down on the person that did this it wuznt jus one

3. and the guy that put the golf cart in the river was not there for the show he was a camping redneck that stole someones cart. the one in the mud was returned with new spark plugs and ran better than when it was picked up.

4. well i agree with your statment but this exact cart was returned in better condition than received, and im not for sure which editor this is but i remember in 06 mike alexander was on the roof top of the host hotel at the ///RA show in millington, TN!

6. I agree that this is what ruins us being able to have golf carts. But the ting is it was not done on purpose, it was an accident they were just driving through mub and they were going to wash it off anyway so they did not do it on purpose and it sucks that the only picture that the editor could find was this one instead of the one that was in the river or the one that was ran in to the wall. So yeah it sucks about this picture but they took the responseability to fix it and clean it up and return it back instead of leaving it to be found later stuck in mud like the one in the river. Anyway that is my two cents.

7. It does suck when a few people get out of hand and ruin it for the rest of us. I know this kid made a mistake and worked very hard to get this cart out of the mud and back to the same if not better condition he received it in. I witnessed alot of people riding around on the golf carts with no concern that they were messing someone else's property up. And what happens, we all get a bad name. The owner of the golf carts will either not come back next year or he will charge an outragous amount to rent them. Just like the bathrooms at the camp site. I mean really is this the way you treat your home. Even in the female shower, someone taking a dump. That is just down right nasty and whoever did it should be a shamed of themselves. I for one have been to Havoc 2 years now and the camp site party is the worth the 8 hour drive it takes us to get there. I just wished people would stop and think about their actions before we lose another great east coast show.

9. Thanks so much guys for taking the responsibility and fixing the damage, that shows a lot! Look forward to a bigger and better show next year with even more camping, hell we might even camp out with you guys!

LOL yes 2 years ago we did find a way up onto the roof at RA, NO DAMAGE of course ;)

10. I HELPED THE GUYS FISH THIS PARTICULAR GOLF CART OUT OF THE MUD AND IT WAS TRULY AN ACCIDENT... AND I CAN SAY THAT A LOT OF TIME WAS SPENT MAKING SURE THIS GOLF CART WAS TURNED IN FULLY OPERATIONAL AND IN BETTER CONDITION THEN IT WAS RECEIVED, AS FAR AS PURPOSELY DESTROYING THE BATHROOMS THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR MALICIOUS DAMAMGE DONE AT AN EVENT... WE ALL WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND *** HAPPENS BUT WE SHOULD BE ADULTS AND APPRECIATE THE ALL THE EFFORT THAT GOES INTO SECURING WHAT FEW EVENTS ARE LEFT... SEE YOU ALL NEXT YEAR.... FREAKS!!!!

13. You know what, in the heat of the moment you dont really think about the damage your doing untill its too late. I will admit, my crew and I were doing wheelies and goin nuts in teh grass, but thankfully no damage was done. i think we all need to step a step back and really think about what we're doing before something happens.

someone could have gotten hurt, a vehicle could have been damaged, the property could have been ruined.

I remember some kid being pulled by a golf cart on some piece of wood. I'm not gonna lie, that was funny as hell to see. but to see him eat it into a fence not even 5 minutes after laughing....it coulda been worse. he coulda really been hurt.

i know us minitruckers are some crazy mofukas, but i think we should keep in on our own property and make it our own problem, not someone elses. =)
