To review: Mike Alexander, nice guy mostly, big on using smiley faces, popular with dudes near and far in the mini truckin' scene and known for having two first names.
BUT, here's the updated scoop - this guy's an idiot crazy, as indicated by this whole '72 Hilux project. Who in their right mind would take such a straight, clean, awesome old school mini truck like this, only to hack it up? Did I mention that it runs...DID run...? Couldn't he have found a POS mini? I didn't want to say anything, but really, it's obvious that he's committed a crime against the preservation of mini trucks. Didn't he see this string of blogs addressed at appreciating these old Toyotas? "The Hi-Lux was Toyota's successor to the Stout, (a commercial truck sold from 1965 to 1967) and marked the entry of Toyota into the market for trucks intended both for commercial and personal use. The retail base price for this 4-speed manual beauty was around $2,000 back in the day."
Additionally, I'm afraid there is a second crime he going to be found guilty of - towing it to FFF instead of driving it.
