Sign-ups are over and 43 confirmation emails have been sent for the Model Build Contest Round 2! The contest build time will run from March 11-May 11, 2009, giving these fabricators a solid two months to show off their creativity and skill, on a miniature level, that is.
While many got their feet wet during Round 1, you have to believe that many others were layin' low and observing the competition, getting ready for Round 2 and Round 3. I'm suspecting the quality of builds for Round 2 will be outstanding. With some experienced, antsy top-notch contenders partaking in this Round, and with two articles in print from Round 1, the reward is substantial and we should be in for a great time. With the contest open to any vehicle, we could see a variety of custom mini trucks, fullsize trucks, cars, and everything in between!
