Where are the mini trucks? Well, there are trucks, but no mini trucks. I'm sorry. But, the point of this blog is this: support your local cruise nights! We often think that the only shows worth going to are the ones far away. In doing this, we neglect the small-town ones that happen literally within walking distance, which was the case for this cruise night. Local events CAN be good and fun, if you can learn to not expect 1,000 cars to arrive. I found out about this cruise night by a flyer posted in a local downtown restaurant window. No website was listed, just the date, street location, and time. I am glad I went, because I discovered that the locals have some pretty sweet rides! It was fun to see these cars parked on OUR downtown street, in front of OUR restaurants, in OUR hood. Wonder how they would treat a mini truck?
