The general mood looming over many of us the past few months reinforces that times are tough, money is tight, and motivation is fleeting.
But, let's take a minute to dream a little. Taken from this Draggin' Thru editorial, my question to you is this: what states and shows are on YOUR "To Do" list? Where would YOU most like to go? Perhaps your priority is the location in which the show is held; perhaps it is the show itself. Either way, what does YOUR list look like? Would you fly or cruise? Do you want a show to make a comeback? Do you want to create and throw your own show? Add it to the list!
Here's my list:
1. West Coast Nationals - Parker, AZ
This one won't be on my list too long - it's this weekend! I've never really been to a "river run," so I'm excited to see what's in store. It's going to be a long drive (no air conditioning!), but I'm always up for some quality time with the Dime.
2. Any show in Las Vegas
I have never taken my truck to Las Vegas, but I think it would be awesome to cruise the strip. Remember the Underground Experience? I would bring this show back so I could park on Fremont Street.
3. Texas
Any show in Texas. Perhaps Tex Mex? Texas seems to a hoppin' place for custom trucks, so to see all those killer Texas trucks in person would be awesome.
4. Truck Masters - Japan
Do I even need to explain?
5. Showfest - Mississippi
...drive to it! I've heard so much about this show. You only live once, right?!
