How To Know What Issue a Story Came From

Publication Date Added To Stories

Minitruckinweb.com is a combo of Mini Truckin' Magazine print stories and web exclusive stories.

Sometimes we get questions regarding what issue a certain story came from. In most cases, you don't need to even ask us - the answer is in the url and now in the actual story through a newly-added Publication Date located above the story's author and photographer. March 1, 2010 would indicate the story is from the March 2010 issue. June 1, 2006 would indicate the June 2006 issue. Good stuff!

Also, the story's url indicates what issue the story is from. For example:

Without knowing anything about this story, I know it came from the March 2010 issue, as indicated by 1003mt. 10=2010 and 03=March (year/month). Let's practice: 0912mt would be December 2009. (09=2009 and 12=December.)

Web exclusive stories (not in the magazine) include month, day, and year, such as:

121509mt indicates that this story was published on December 15, 2009, and since it includes a specific day in the url, (and goes month/day/year instead of year/month) I know automatically that it did not come from the magazine.

Go ahead and click on some stories and check it out for yourself!

My secrets, revealed to you.
