I can't believe it's that time again, as I feel like we just got done with the 2011 show! Are you at the point, like I am, where you forget how many times you've gone to a show? In doing some research, I've found pictures that I've taken at FFF dating back to 2003, including this blog's picture. Where were you in 2003? What were you doing in 2003? Did you have your truck? I did, and it was bagged then, too. Shoot, it basically looks the same, still.
Show roll in times are Saturday 9AM-12PM, and Sunday 5AM-9AM; $30 bucks includes you, your truck, and a passenger. There was no pre-registration this year. Invite friends and family; gates for spectators open at 12:30PM on Saturday and 10AM on Sunday ($7.50 for one day, $12 for both).
This year it is a 2 day show. That's right - two days of FFF madness. If you're staying at a hotel, do the whole "scene" a favor and don't trash it. That's not cool, and if you do that, you're not cool. It makes all of us look bad, and that's not right. We'll be packing down my S10 and camping, as we enjoy the great outdoors.
Stay tuned for awesome show coverage. Happy and safe travels to Perris, CA, for one of Southern California's premier mini truck shows. Toughen up - don't let threats of rain stop you!
